Chris grew up in Klawer, a farming town in the Western Cape. While he worked on farms during school and university holidays and developed a firm understanding of what makes farms and farmers “tick”.
After studying BSc in Agriculture and Economics at the University of Stellenbosch, he worked for an irrigation company and later specialized in development and retail.
For the past 13 years, he has been an entrepreneur and involved in various projects. These projects range from establishing table grape farms in Ethiopia and developing fuel stations to being a Spur franchisee. This culmination of vast business experience has given him valuable insight into various sectors of the business and property market.
Since 2015 he has been an agent with Agrisell, focusing on development opportunities as well as the leasing and selling of farms and developmental land.

Based in Stellenbosch, Western Cape, he focuses mainly on the Winelands and the greater Cape Town metropolitan area.
Chris is also an extreme sports enthusiast and participates in Thundercat racing – proudly representing Team Agrisell – as well as racing motorcycles.
He spends most of his free time raising his two sons and traveling the world with his better half, Zelmarie. Being a true adventurer at heart, he believes that Nature is the best teacher of the values that matter most.
