Born in Worcester, Yolanda always knew that she was meant to spread her wings and find a different place.
This place was not to be a city, but rather the type of quaint little towns you read about, where everybody knows one another, and the neighbors almost become family. She longed for a place where you could open the doors of your house and welcome nature.
On the journey to find such a place, the road led her to Montagu, the place where she found the love of her life. After four years they married and are today blessed with two amazing children. The years she spent in Montagu were filled with love, friendship, and the happiest of memories (the reason why it will always be near to her heart), but after fourteen years she and her husband knew that they had great adventures yet to come, but that they were to leave Montagu behind for the next chapter.
In 2011 they found their home in Piketberg. Her husband was appointed as the Revenue Manager at the local municipality, and she suddenly found herself to be a housewife, raising the kids. After going to work for seventeen years, this proved to be a challenging adjustment that she was not yet ready for. As fate would want it, she met a wonderful woman who owned a property agency. The introduction to the rental world she learned so many valuable lessons from; a mentor that Yolanda will eternally be grateful for.
Since 2022 Yolanda made the transition to Agrisell and has already been promoted to Rentals account manager. In her words, “Helping people is what gives me pleasure”. She believes that no mountain is too high to attain, a principle that proves extremely helpful when working with rentals.
In her spare time, she enjoys listening to music, dancing, and taking a walk in nature. And if it was possible, she would go camping with her family every weekend, “the best relaxation one could ask for”.
