More Information
Sandra grew up on a Karoo farm near Willowmore in the Eastern Cape.
She studied at the Old Grey Institute in Port Elizabeth, after which she started her teaching career at High School Carel du Toit as Steynville.
In 1979 she studied for a qualification as a teacher librarian at Stellenbosch University. After teaching for seven years, she worked as a librarian at the former University of Port Elizabeth.
In 1989 her family of four moved to Piketberg, where Sandra continued her teaching profession until the end of 1996.
She worked for her husband at Le Roux van Wyk Makelaars until 2000, when she started an estate agency of her own, namely Sandra van Wyk Eiendomme.
In 2022 she sold her rental business to Agrisell where she is now involved as a part-time agent in marketing property.
She fills her leisure time with gardening, reading, listening to music, and taking long walks with her dog.
