Marco Myburgh is fit for selling agri-properties. As a personal trainer and property agent in Stellenbosch, he understands discipline and dedication.
A farm boy at heart, Marco grew up in the Karoo town of Prince Albert and finished his schooling at Oakdale Agricultural High School at Riversdal in the Western Cape. After studying for a BCom degree at Stellenbosch University, he returned to the farm with sheep (meat and wool) and hosted game hunters on their family farm, Slagterspoort.
After a tough decision to sell the family farm, he and his family moved to George in 2010, but currently reside in Stellenbosch, where has been working as a part-time fitness instructor. Marco loves the combination of physical and spiritual fitness and enjoys sharing his experience and knowledge in his fitness classes.
He joined Agrisell in 2022 and is very happy with the freedom it affords to also spend time with his active family. He and his wife Jeanine try to keep up with the fitness of their two children – Luan and Jeannie – who both represent South Africa in judo.
Marco focuses on properties in and around Stellenbosch.
His advice to sellers, specifically of farms: “Make peace with your decision and be patient. Also use a property agent to advise and direct as it will relieve a lot of pressure from you as the seller.”
