As a nature guide and helicopter logistician, Ken Taytasac has his feet firmly on Mother Earth.
His career started as an auditor for Price Water House and in doing so, he worked at hundreds of companies in all industries across South Africa. After that, he moved to the aviation sector as a specialist in the multi-engine helicopter logistics systems for companies such as Anglo American, De Beers Marine, and Canadian Helicopter Corporation as well as for the UN in war zones of North-East Africa.
Ken is a licensed nature guide and worked on conservation projects, particularly on marine science involving tiger sharks and white sharks. “Nature is a passion, so I still work as a guide.”
Throughout his varied career, he has been buying and selling his multiple properties, an experience which has prepared him to become a property agent.
“I love meeting good people and living in Graaff Reinet in the Eastern Cape Karoo, a place which has been so kind to me.”
Graaff-Reinet has the second most registered heritage homes in South Africa and is said to be the only town surrounded by a National Game Park.

In his spare time, Ken enjoys guided walks in the national park and gardening, which relaxes him and nourishes his mental attitude.
