André grew up and matriculated in Middelburg, a mining and agricultural town in the Mpumalanga province.
After graduating from the University of the Free State with a B.Agric degree, he furthered his studies in theology before settling down to farm soybeans, maize, cattle, and game. After ten years he moved to the maize milling industry where he spent thirteen years in a general manager role studying further to qualify as a miller and pest control officer.
With his extensive experience in the agricultural field and involvement in the broader farming community, he understands the challenges and triumphs of farming. He focuses on the sale of farms and small holdings mainly in the Middelburg, Carolina, Groblersdal, Hendrina, and Hazyview areas of Mpumalanga. In his spare time, he enjoys the outdoors and regularly goes camping, hiking, fishing, birdwatching as well as biking, bow hunting, mountaineering, and golfing. He is a firm believer that all things are possible through hope, faith, and love.
