Jannie Fourie is the founder of Agrisell – one of South Africa’s largest independent agricultural real estate agencies.
He has come a long way from his early years when he was deeply embedded in the Karoo. He has been involved in the agricultural sector since 1970 starting as a farmer and then leading and restructuring the National Red Meat Producers’ Organisation (RPO) the largest agricultural producer’s organisation in South Africa. This was done during the transition from controlled markets to today’s free market system. Jannie chaired and served on the boards of several agricultural corporations, visiting more than 20 countries before and after 1994 as the world’s agricultural markets opened up for South African producers to trade worldwide. During this time, he learned many lessons that aided AGRISELL in growing from strength to strength.

He strongly believes that a good person, who has passion and works hard, will always have a place at Agrisell.
Jannie is a father who has dedicated his life to his children and grandchildren. He is married to Lize, an artist and together they have four children and six grandchildren. He currently lives in Strand and loves people and traveling and exploring the great outdoors.
