Jan-Hendrik grew up on a sheep farm in the Karoo near De Aar. After graduating from the University of Stellenbosch (Bachelor of Accountancy) he completed his articles at Tenk Loubsher & Associates. This fuelled a special interest in internal audits of farming operations. Â
For the next 11 years he was the group financial controller for a German-based machine tools company, where he gained valuable financial management experience. He frequently travelled to all subsidiaries in 10 different countries (Germany, USA, Brazil, Russia, Hong Kong, China, Portugal, Turkey, Serbia and Estonia).
In 2016 Jan-Hendrik joined his father, Jannie Fourie, who is the founder of Agrisell, to continue his interest in the agricultural sector. Today he is the Principal and Director of Agrisell.
Jan-Hendrik is passionate about real estate and his vision is to continue the solid foundation and strong brand which his father has built. His focus is on building trust through personal relationships and customised professional services.
Jan-Hendrik is married to Mariëtte, and they have 3 children, Hannari, Rosali and Jan Dawid.
